Project Description:
Homeless street performer and ex-Marine, Donald Gould, captured America's heart when a viral video of him playing outside a cafe went viral, receiving over 20 million views on YouTube.
My Role:
After seeing a story on him on Inside Edition and then watching the video myself I contacted Inside Edition and six months later he was performing on Monday Night Football at Levi's Stadium as the 49ers took on the Vikings.
Inside Edition's recap of Donald Gould's anthem performance on Monday Night Football, which aired nationally on CBS.
The Outcome:
Donald's performance was met with an overwhelming amount of media coverage and amazingly positive feedback from the 49ers community and across the country.
Beyond the audience at Monday Night Football, the performance drove nearly 5 million media impressions and a publicity value of $130,000.
