How I see it:
They say content is king, but without a good story to accompany it, it's just a bunch of flashy images on a screen. In the heavily saturated age of digital media it's a good story that's as good as gold.

Project Description:
The "Road to History" was a countdown to Barry Bonds' record breaking 756th home run. We incorporated messages from five sports legends including Joe Montana, Wayne Gretzky, Michael Jordan and Muhammad Ali after each home run culminating in a final message from Hank Aaron.
My Role:
Cut down of ESPN's live coverage of Barry Bonds' 756th home run and live ceremony
Planned and produced Barry Bonds 756th home run celebration that was carried live nationwide on ESPN.
The Outcome:
"Road to History" video message campaign became highly talked about in the world of sports as everyone tried to guess who the next video was.
The 756th home run Ceremony and final Hank Aaron video surprise was called "The sports secret of the decade" by some in the media world given Hank Aaron's presumed disinterest and disapproval of the record chase. The message even made a special appearance the Jimmy Kimmel Show resulting in heavy amounts of exposure for the club.
